Watch out for baby quail!

Baby Quail cannot survive without their parents, their lives depend on it. When they're young you can't much tell their genders appart, but as they grow older the males grow a feather out of the top of their head. Which I like to refer to as "Indian Birds"! They are found in generally small ranges from about 10 to 15 acres. After they hatch, their diet is made up of mainly insects. A 3 day old chick feeds on about 2 to 3 grams throughout the entire day. By the time they're 10 days of age they may consume as much as 6 grams of insects to a day. Thanks for reading this, and a specail thanks to GAGA mama, for making this possible!
